Hello, there! My name’s Jen and I am the owner and primary photographer of Visual Poetry.
I love to create. Whether that be portraits, poetry, drawing, designing a layout or planning an event. Anything. I love the freedom to be myself in this industry; to brand my company with my style. I am not a sales person and I wont try and sell you anything, but myself. I’m an artist. I thrive off diversity and find beauty in imperfections. My mind is wide open. I am a mother. A wife. A daughter. A friend. A sister. I am in love with love. Hopeless romatic.
I have had a camera in my hand since I can remember. It all started back in highschool where I took a film photography course. I fell in love immediately and knew this was my calling! From there, I was the photographer for our school newspaper. Once I graduated, I created my own business and have been loving every minute of it!
